I created this video on the fly. Obviously the editing wasn’t done in 1 minute, but I literally felt like shooting, so I did, and once i got home with the camera i just uploaded all the footage and began attempting to edit, learning as i went. Jessica Beasly is a very good friend of mine that i love and spend quite a bit of time with. On a shopping trip a few weekends ago i gave her style advice that she took. The outcome is this beautiful edgy but sweet, feminine street look. Jacket by Joy Rich, Dress by BCBG and of course the ever classic Air Force 1 thats become and will continue to be iconic sneaker this summer as it was in so many summers in times past. This video is the outcome of the first time i’ve ever recorded and edited anything, ever. And also the very first time i had an opportunity to showcase my styling ability on someone other than myself. The song is another product of the first time i got an opportunity to do something. In this case it was really sit down and go tit for tat with a producer who believed in me and was willing to hear me out on my ideas and concepts. The entire record was made from scratch. From the bass guitar to the “Me & You” effects i put on the hooks. Everything thought out and brought to life, right there, in the moment. Every other time i’ve recorded, the beat was already made when i got it and i just wrote to it. Which is fine, but this process i feel like just took me to a new level as well as gave me a new joy when it comes to creating music. I cant hope for anything but for you to enjoy this i guess. If you love it, awesome, if you don’t, I HOPE AT THE VERY LEAST THAT YOU GET ENCOURAGED TO JUST GO DO SOMETHING CREATIVE. It might be great! - youtube is trippy so make sure to manually set the video quality to 1080p
